Michael Alexander is a french horn performance major at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. After his brief hiatus from Strikepoint, Michael returns this summer for his 13th year ringing, joining Strikepoint for eight of them. Michael plays the french horn professionally in both small and large ensembles. He is a member of the Meliora and Superior Brass Quintets, as well as a member of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Minnesota Opera. Outside of music Michael is an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins, Rochester Red Wings and the Duluth Huskies. He also enjoys looking back on a sepia tinged childhood filled with handbells and the fantastical ravings of his harebrained older sister.
